Foodie Calendar: March 2007

Any one looking for an excuse to eat and travel should check out the great reasons below. I'm also previewing one early-April event that Boston foodies won't want to miss. This is far from a comprehensive list, so if I overlooked a tasting or festival that you're planning to attend, or if you've been to one that you loved, let me know and I'll add it to this or future calendars.

Featured Event: Taste of the Nation Boston
April 4-5, 2007

Share Our Strength is hosting its annual Taste of the Nation Boston. The event is run by an all-volunteer committee (Foodie Chick included!) to ensure that all ticket sales directly aid the fight against childhood hunger. This Taste will feature over 70 of Boston's best restaurants, over 30 wineries, Samuel Adams, silent auction, live bands, and leading Boston chefs including Andy Husbands and Jody Adams. And, no, I'm not just volunteering for the free food... It's just a huge perk.
